How to book a boat trip

TO MAKE A BOOKING  we recommend you ring the booking office in advance we will then send you all the information you require for your boat trip.

You can book your boat trip by phoning our booking office or calling into the booking office.

If you come into the booking office to book a trip you will be required to maintain social distancing.  We are limiting the number of people in the booking office at any one time.  Our staff will serve you from behind a screen, sanitiser is available for your use and the card machine will be sanitised inbetween each user.

The boat trips depart from St Justinians Lifeboat Station.  Make your way to the car park at St Justinians SA62 6PY, £3 please take cash.  We will send/give you a map.  Leave the car park and make your way down the hill you will see a sign directing you into a field to meet our boarding master and the rest of the passengers on your trip, you must meet here 15 minutes before your trip.  Please don’t be late.

Please wear your mask.   We are meeting in the field so there is plenty of room for social distancing.  You must wear warm clothing and a coat.  We are not providing waterproof coats this year as we do not want you to share something someone else has worn.

When it is time for your trip your boarding master will escort you down the steps to you boat.   You will see hand sanitiser in various places along the way.

The boat will be sanitised before every trip.  She is a large vessel with individual seats and railings around the side so you will not have to wear a lifejacket unless you want to.  Lifejackets will be sanitised if they have been used.  When you board the boat you will see more hand sanitiser,  you will be shown your seat.  You will be given a safety talk before the trip begins.

At the end of the trip when you leave the boat there is hand sanitiser available along the route back up the hill.

Apart from the unusual procedures above we know you will enjoy your trip.

Looking forward to seeing you all.
