Islands
Thousand Islands Expeditions was established in 1975, and is a boat trip provider in St Davids, Pembrokeshire.
Offering a large variety of boat trips, which are suitable for all ages, and abilities, we run two traditional vessels which are the perfect platform for wildlife watching and for keen photographers.
As well as having the sole landing rights to RSPB reserve Ramsey Island, something which we are incredibly proud of, we also offer our passengers the opportunity to explore the other Pembrokeshire Islands, our magical coastline, and all the incredible wildlife our seas and shores provide us with.
Our daily ferry boat offers passengers an unique experience, allowing them to explore Ramsey Island at their own leisure, offering up breathtaking scenery and giving an insight into island life, and how the incredible wardens, and volunteers over at the island, help maintain and protect our incredible nature reserves .
Join one of our wildlife trips, where we were named by tripadvisor as one their travelers choice for 2023. See our Atlantic Grey Seal colony at Ramsey Island, pass below some of the highest cliffs in Wales, and witness the turbulent white water in Ramsey Sound, where the resident Harbour Porpoise feed.
We travel across St Brides bay, down to Skomer Island in search of the colorful Puffin. We head out to Grassholm Island, where we are surrounded by diving Gannets, hundreds of sea birds, and some playful dolphins.
If you’re lucky, you may even see a whale.
